Large five-faced rudraksha beads, the seeds of the Elaeocarpus tree, with full, plump ridges in a pattern the trade calls plum blossom. The maker says the seeds come from trees about 20 years old.

Choosing your bracelet

  • Bead size: from 18.5 mm to 23 mm, measured across the bead.
  • Selection: A and B are the maker's own grades; A is the higher. Both are the same five-faced rudraksha; the higher grade generally has fuller, more even ridges and a cleaner surface. The maker does not publish exact grading criteria.

Material & origin

Each listing states the material, origin and measurements of the piece. Natural materials vary — grain, colour, flecks and markings make every piece one of a kind; they are character, not flaws.

Bead size

Bead size is the width of one bead, in millimetres. Larger beads look bolder and feel heavier in the hand; smaller ones are lighter and quieter. Our size guide shows each size side by side.

Care & patina

Handle often, with clean and dry hands. Keep away from water, perfume, lotion and strong sun. Let new wood rest a day or two each week while the patina settles, and wipe with a soft cotton cloth — never oil or polish.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free within the contiguous US: the 48 mainland states and Washington, DC. We can't yet deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

US import duties are included in the price, so you don't pay them. If a carrier ever asks you for import charges, contact us and we will refund them.
