Large five-faced rudraksha beads from Nepal, the seeds of the Elaeocarpus tree, with deep, rounded ridges in a pattern the trade calls plum blossom.

Choosing your bracelet

  • Bead size: from 18 mm to 23.5 mm, measured across the bead.
  • Selection: A, B and C are the maker's own grades, from highest to lowest. All are the same five-faced rudraksha; higher grades generally have fuller, more even ridges and cleaner surfaces. The maker does not publish exact grading criteria.

Material & origin

Each listing states the material, origin and measurements of the piece. Natural materials vary — grain, colour, flecks and markings make every piece one of a kind; they are character, not flaws.

Bead size

Bead size is the width of one bead, in millimetres. Larger beads look bolder and feel heavier in the hand; smaller ones are lighter and quieter. Our size guide shows each size side by side.

Care & patina

Handle often, with clean and dry hands. Keep away from water, perfume, lotion and strong sun. Let new wood rest a day or two each week while the patina settles, and wipe with a soft cotton cloth — never oil or polish.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free within the contiguous US: the 48 mainland states and Washington, DC. We can't yet deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

US import duties are included in the price, so you don't pay them. If a carrier ever asks you for import charges, contact us and we will refund them.
