Monkey head walnut shell carved into the classic shark-back bead, a rounded form with a high curved ridge. The maker states there is no artificial treatment. The bracelet is a plain strand of walnut beads.

Choosing your bracelet

  • Soft matte: a soft matte finish on beads of a little over 13 mm, cut from a different source of shell.

Bead size is the width of one bead, in millimetres. Larger beads look bolder and feel heavier in the hand; smaller ones are lighter and quieter. Our size guide shows each size side by side.

Care & patina

Handle often, with clean and dry hands. Keep away from water, perfume, lotion and strong sun. Let new wood rest a day or two each week while the patina settles, and wipe with a soft cotton cloth — never oil or polish.

Shipping is free within the contiguous US: the 48 mainland states and Washington, DC. We can't yet deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

US import duties are included in the price, so you don't pay them. If a carrier ever asks you for import charges, contact us and we will refund them.
