About the material

The calyx is a small, hard part of the coconut, so the beads are small too, from 6 mm to 9 mm. They are cut as round or barrel beads and left in a natural finish.

We offer 108-bead strands, the traditional count for a full string of prayer beads, which can be wrapped several times around the wrist, and shorter hand strands for holding. With handling, the surface grows smoother and takes on a soft shine.
